Candidate Profile: Mark Ross


Mark Ross, of Bettendorf, is seeking his first term in the Iowa House.  He is running to represent House District 93 which includes parts of Davenport and Bettendorf in Scott County.

Mark received his Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Wartburg College in Waverly, and his MBA from the University of Iowa.  Additionally, he has passed the CPA exam.  He is an entrepreneur and has created several successful companies in addition to serving in management positions with McGladrey & Pullen and Per Mar Security Services.  Currently, Mark is the CFO of an advanced manufacturing company.  He has an extensive background in the insurance and accounting industries.

Mark has been active in his community through the Bettendorf Rotary Club where he has served as the President.  He has volunteered extensively on projects such as delivering Thanksgiving and Christmas baskets throughout the community and distributing books to local students.  He has also served as a board member for the Scott County Regional Authority and as an Alderman for the City of Bettendorf.
