Ken Rizer is serving his second term in the Iowa House.

Ken served 25 years as an Air Force fighter pilot and commander. He led Andrews Air Force Base, the home of Air Force One.  He is currently an Assistant Professor of Aviation at the University of Dubuque.

Ken is a graduate of the US Air Force Academy, earning a BS in Foreign Affairs. He completed an MS in Strategic Studies at Air University’s Air War College, an MPA from Harvard University and an MBA from the University of Iowa.

Ken is a Special Olympics Iowa Board Member and a member of the American Legion, Rotary, Air Force Association, Military Officers Association and NRA.

Ken and his wife, Cheri, have been married for 27 years and have four children.
