Today, freshmen Representative Megan Hess (HD2, Spencer) ran her first bills through the House Judiciary Committee. While many members only run a single bill at a time, Rep. Hess ran three, all but one passing unanimously.
The bills were:
- HSB 14: An act relating to county attorney duties when representing the Department of Human Services in juvenile court.
- HSB 15: An act relating to the administration of the judicial branch including provisions pertaining to short hand reporters and the practice of law, making appropriations and providing for a fee.
- HSB 25: An act relating to the forfeiture of bail in a criminal case.
