House Passes Resolution Urging Action on New Farm Bill

Today Reps. Pat Grassley and Brian Moore spoke in support of House Resolution 102 which urges the federal government to pass a new Farm Bill.  The resolution, which was passed unanimously by the Iowa House, points out that the prolonged delay in passing a Farm Bill has created uncertainty for Iowa families, agriculture producers and overseas markets.  The Representatives are asking Congress to immediately take up this issue as it affects Iowa’s communities.

A copy of the resolution was sent to President Obama, Secretary Vilsack, and members of Congress.
