Meet Our Members – Chip Baltimore

Representative Chip Baltimore is currently serving his third term in the Iowa House.  He represents Iowa’s 47th District which includes Boone, Ogden, and Jefferson.

Rep. Baltimore serves as the Chairman of the Judiciary committee, and also serves on the Commerce and Ways & Means committees, as well as the Justice Systems budget subcommittee.

Chip was born in 1966 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He grew up on a small farm, raised by his parents, Dale and Edith. Dale has been a self-employed contractor for over 40 years, and Edith spent those years raising children, running the business part of Dale’s construction business, and was involved in many community organizations. Chip has a sister who lives in Oelwein and a brother who lives in Kansas City.
