Clel BaudlerOn Monday, Rep. Clel Baudler (R-Greenfield) announced he will be running for re-election to the Iowa House in district 20 which includes all of Guthrie and Adair Counties and portions of Dallas and Cass Counties.

Baudler was born and raised in Fontanelle.  He served as an Iowa State Trooper for 32 years and since retirement in 1997, he has kept busy farming.

“Iowans’ well-being is one of my top concerns and I will continue to find ways to keep our citizens safe,” said Baudler.  “I will also work to make sure government serves as a resource for Iowans, not a corrupt, out of control bureaucracy.”

In his community, Baudler has been an active member of the Iowa Farm Bureau, Pheasants Forever, Ducks Unlimited and the Wild Turkey Federation.  He is active in the State Troopers Association, is on the Board of Directors for the National Rifle Association, and is a member of the Iowa Police Combat League.
