Representative Jake Highfill just finished serving his second term in the Iowa House.  He represents Iowa’s 39th District which includes Grimes and Johnston.

Rep. Highfill is the Chairman of the International Relations committee, and also serves on the Education, Government Oversight, Local Government, and State Government committees, as well as the Transportation, Infrastructure and Capitals budget subcommittee. Read more »

(DES MOINES) – Monday, House Speaker Kraig Paulsen (R-Hiawatha) announced the standing and budget committee chairs for the eighty-sixth General Assembly which begins January 12, 2015.  They are as follows:
